Watercolors is a moderate and low income, 55+ gated active adult senior and retirement community of newer single-family homes. Located off Avenue 48 between Adams Street and Dune Palms Road in South La Quinta, California, Watercolors development was completed in 2007 and features residences ranging in size from approximately 1,227 square feet to 1,348 square feet and two to three bedrooms. Homes are partially subsidized so you must submit an application and be approved by the city of La Quinta before you can purchase a home in Watercolors. Residents must live in the community full-time and cannot own another home. Rentals are not allowed.
